About 1580 Mississauga Valley Boulevard — Parkview Condos
The Parkview Condos is amongst some of the oldest buildings in Mississauga. In fact, the building was completed in 1977, just 3 years after Mississauga was officially designated a city.
While the façade at 1580 Mississauga Valley Boulevard might be a dead giveaway as to the age of the building, the lobby thankfully looks anything but dated. And in addition to 223 homes, the 19-storey tower contains a party room, a games room, and underground and visitor parking.
The Suites
Condo seekers hoping for a spacious home have come to the right place, as none of the suites at 1580 Mississauga Valley span less than 1,000 square feet. The largest homes reach to around 1,600 square feet, and homes may contain anywhere from one bedroom plus a den to three bedrooms plus a den.
While every home in the Parkview Condos boasts large, bright windows, each unit differs from the next since units have been renovated at different points in time over the years. This way some prospective residents can opt for a recently renovated and completely modern home, while others prefer untouched units that are ready and waiting to be overhauled.
The Neighbourhood
Living in Mississauga Valley is a good compromise: residents get to live in a charming residential neighbourhood filled with plenty of green space, while still having access to all that downtown Mississauga has to offer. Just to the east of the building, for example, is Mississauga Valley Park, while Square One Shopping Centre and Celebration Square can be found just northwest of 1580 Mississauga Valley.
When hunger pangs hit, residents can visit restaurants in the surrounding neighbourhoods, many of which happen to serve up authentic Indian dishes. Those who prefer to cook at home, on the other hand, can shop for organic groceries at Whole Foods, Indian products at Panchvati Supermarket, or Korean imports at PAT Supermarket.
Transportation
Living at 1580 Mississauga Valley Boulevard is extremely convenient for both drivers and those who rely on public transit to get around. Residents without cars of their own can reach Islington Station on the TTC’s Bloor-Danforth line in less than 40 minutes via the 3 MiWay bus, which stops right outside the building. Those hoping to catch a GO Train, on the other hand, can ride the Hurontario bus until they reach Cooksville GO Station. Last but not least, drivers living in the building can use Hurontario to reach the 403, the 401, and the QEW in no time.
