About 251 Queens Quay WAdmiralty Point

A warning to condo owners living in the concrete jungle — this could hurt a little.

Nestled in The Waterfront neighbourhood, Admiralty Point is a 9-storey boutique condominium offering comfortable homes, seconds from HTO Park. There are very few neighbourhoods which blend downtown living and recreation as well as the Waterfront, and fewer still which boast affordable Toronto condos for sale; that's exactly what you can get at 251 Queens Quay West.

You don’t need an extensive list of extras with a condo in the Waterfront, but residents of Admiralty Point have the benefit of shared amenities with the Radisson hotel: gym, pool, sauna, racquet ball court, parking garage, security guard, and onsite concierge.

Admiralty Point has a diverse selection of units, making this location ideal for first time home-buyers and established buyers as well — whether you are buying your first 1 bedroom condo or a stunning penthouse, this is a prime location for people young and old alike.

    The Suites

Built in 1989, Admiralty Point is an established residence in the Waterfront neighbourhood, housing 61 downtown Toronto condos in a variety of layouts. Suite sizes range from around 1100 square feet to over 3000 for an expansive 3 bedroom + den penthouse.

These suites have walls of floor to ceiling windows, hardwood floors, spacious ensuite bathrooms, large balconies, and tall ceilings; corner suites feature wrap-around windows which fill these units with natural light.

Access to a pool at the Radisson is the cherry on top for 251 Queens Quay West, as residents can go for a dip and then kick back in their spacious suites with a waterfront view.

    The Neighbourhood

The Toronto Waterfront is a peaceful retreat from clustered of downtown high-rises. Residents have a multitude of green spaces available to them for leisure and recreation, extending for kilometres to the east and west. From the lobby of Admiralty Point, you are less than a minute walk from HTO Park where you can sit on a manufactured sandy beach or stretch out in a field of open grass. The Martin Goodman Trail connects HTO to a wealth of lakeside green spaces with a wide assortment of recreation options; there are tennis courts, a yacht club, a rowing club, tree-shrouded grasslands, baseball diamonds, a dog park, and running trails that go on and on. To the west you have the Harbourfront Square and Sherbourne common; in fact, you can actually follow the Martin Goodman Trail to the Don Valley Trail, all the way to Corktown Commons and the Rosedale Ravine Lands.

Of course, there is much more to waterfront living than green space — from this location you have Toronto’s most noteworthy attractions just minutes from your front door; you can act like a tourist and go to the CN Tower for the Edge Walk, ogle undersea oddities at Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada, or observe the history of hockey at the Hockey Hall of Fame. For nightlife, the Entertainment District has all the raucous clubs, live music, and cozy pubs that you could desire.

For dining, there are incredible restaurants just around the corner like the Amsterdam BrewHouse and Pizzaiolo Gourmet Pizza, or quick pick ups like Pizza Pizza, Subway and Harvey’s. Coffee drinkers have options here as well — Starbucks and Tim Hortons are a minute from your front door, and Boxcar Social is located at the Harbourfront Centre.

There are some conveniently located grocery stores and drug stores in the area: Rabba Fine Foods, Sobeys Fresh Spadina, Shoppers Drug Mart and more.

    Transportation

251 Queens Quay W has a Walk Score of 86, so residents can grab most of the essentials without the need to public transit or a vehicle.

TTC riders have streetcar service on Queens Quay, connecting to Union Station and the TTC network. For air travel, Billy Bishop Airport is within walking distance — flying does not get easier than this.

Drivers have a parking garage to store their vehicles when not in use, and a short commute to the Gardiner Expressway via Spadina or Lakeshore boulevard.
