Alternatively, residents who prefer public transit live a short walk from major streetcar routes that run east and west through the city, along both Queen and King Streets. Both the 504 King and the 501 Queen streetcars stop at Jarvis, and offer passengers the opportunity to connect onto the Yonge-University-Spadina subway line after traveling just a few short blocks.
